Green Bean Casserole
Taking a classic and jazzing it up.
Ingredients
- 4-6 slices Bacon, cooked, crumbled (save grease)
- 4 15oz cans Cut Green Beans
- 1 10 oz can Condensed Mushroom Soup
- 3/4 cup Milk
- Salt To taste
- Black Pepper To taste
- 1-1/2 cups Crispy Fried Onions French's Brand
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Bake or fry bacon until cripsy. Save the grease for later
- Once bacon is cooled, crumble into pieces
- Add reserved bacon grease to saucepan over medium heat
- Drain green beans. Put green beans into saucepan and stir
- Season to taste with salt and garlic pepper
- Heat for about 5 minutes
- Empty green beans into casserole dish
- Mix in the condensed soup, milk, bacon, and half of the crispy fried onions
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
- Top the casserole with the remaining crispy friend onions
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until onions are golden brown
