Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Apple Juice
  • 12 oz Cranberries
  • 2 Apples I used Honey Crisp
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Rinse Cranberries and Apples
  • Cut apples into small pieces
  • Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and apple juice in a medium saucepan over medium high heat
  • Stir sugar is dissolved
  • Add cranberries and bring to a boil. Cranberries will begin to burst open
  • Add apples in at this point
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes
  • Add salt and cinnamon. Stir to combine
  • Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes. Stirring frequently and making sure all cranberries have burst
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving
  • Store in the refrigerator
