Apple Cinnamon Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Apple Juice
- 12 oz Cranberries
- 2 Apples I used Honey Crisp
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
- Rinse Cranberries and Apples
- Cut apples into small pieces
- Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and apple juice in a medium saucepan over medium high heat
- Stir sugar is dissolved
- Add cranberries and bring to a boil. Cranberries will begin to burst open
- Add apples in at this point
- Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes
- Add salt and cinnamon. Stir to combine
- Continue to simmer for another 5 minutes. Stirring frequently and making sure all cranberries have burst
- Remove from heat and allow to cool before serving
- Store in the refrigerator
